No 1 - 15 Liverpool Street is a property that was purchased by Crossrail in 2012 from AVIVA.
Cox Design and Planning Ltd were appointed as lead consultant by Balfour Beatty Workplace to carry out building surveying and architectural design services, to unable the location of C610 Crossrail team and sub-contractors within the vicinity of the proposed London Liverpool Street Crossrail site.
The Crossrail teams were located over multiple floors with approximately 120 person per floor, the floors were split between office based staff and onsite technical staff. The refurbishment scope was to provide a modern and flexible working space for Crossrail to work from until project completion in 2018. Each floor was designed to include open plan office space, with sizeable team and conference meeting space, modern break out areas and adequate welfare facilities for all.
Cox Design and Planning delivered to the design project within 8 weeks, with all compliance met and the facility has been successfully operational since.
